Homework

Poetry Notebooks are due back every Monday. Students should be singing the poems and pointing out words that they can read. You can also work on rhyming words, blending sounds and segmenting sounds, identifying beginning, middle, and ending sounds, and much more! Have fun reading with your kinder!

Math Home Links are sent home of Friday's, but only when we have an assignment that correlates with our math lessons. Students will have one week to complete and return the homework.

Sight Words

The following sight words have been formally taught in class and your child should be able to read, write, and spell these words fluently. As you are reading to your child, have him/her point out these words in the text and read the words as s/he points to them. This is a fun way for your child to engage in reading along with you. Enjoy and thank you for reinforcing these words at home. :)
